The Drennan Floatmaster is a classic 13ft fast tip action match rod and a superbly balanced 15ft float rod - all in one package! At 13ft this rod is one of the lightest available and perfect for catching big nets of roach, for taming river chub and stillwater tench and even for catching smaller sized carp in commercial fisheries.
At 15ft it is transformed into a superb long range float rod with excellent balance. The extra length provides much improved line control enabling a variety of styles to be fished more effectively, especially at distance. At 15ft the rod has a slightly more mellow action which still retains enough power to allow reel lines up to 4lb and at 13ft slightly heavier lines can be used for species such as tench.
