We hope shopping online with us is simple and easy to understand; we want you to have a relaxed time browsing our site, so it has been designed to be bright, modern and hopefully, user-friendly! When you have made a purchase, we will endeavour to make delivery to you as fast and efficiently as possible.

For those of you who haven't visited our shop premises in Peterborough and would like to know a little about our Company before spending your hard-earned money with us, a little history may help you to understand why we are so proud of our fishing tackle shop and the staff who work with us.

Shelton's of Peterborough Tackle has been trading for nearly 30 years, initially as Shelton's Guns & Tackle and latterly simply as Shelton's Tackle Shop. The company itself has been trading in the local area for over sixty years and has gained a reputation for solid and trustworthy business ventures in many diverse areas.

We have a history of excellence and expertise in the angling trade, which is reflected in the range of suppliers we offer to customers. Our General Manager, Kathy Forbear, has a wealth of exerience and knowledge gained over many years and with our Shop Manager, Richard Hearth, offer the kind of enthusiasm and expertise that makes our shop the success it is. Kathy and Richard are backed up by a dedicated team and between them can answer probably any question that may arise in your quest for the best angling products!

Over the coming weeks we are planning to extend this site into many areas including a Junior Anglers section; an angler's Q&A section; Regional Fishing information; a Photo Gallery and hopefully, regular competitions, etc, etc!

Along with the introduction of our online shop we are very proud to announce that we have re-modelled and extended our shop premises in Peterborough, which was officially opend by Mick Brown on the 10th April 2009! The Angling Superstore is over 8.000 sq feet and offers a vast range of manufacturers, displays and stock plus free parking. If you are in the area, come on in - you won't be disappointed!
